Dr Antonios Botonakis

Music Education and Technology

Dr. Antonios Botonakis received his Ph.D. in 2013 (University of Athens, Department of Music Studies). During 2018-2020, he successfully completed the research project Byzantine Musical Instruments, working as a post-doctorate researcher in Istanbul, at Koç University. He is a pianist, musician and orchestrator and his research interests are mainly focused on organology, education informatics and Western / Byzantine music theory and practice.
