According to the curriculum, the first seven (7) semesters include theoretical and laboratory modules, whereas the last semester is dedicated to the diploma thesis and supervised practical training.

One should note that the modules have been organized according to their ECTS credits, which enable a student of this department to follow modules of related departments in foreign institutions (which follow the same system of credit unit transfer) by transferring his ECTs, to obtain the degree.
